LDL particles containing apolipoprotein C-III are independent risk factors for coronary events in diabetic patients.
This epidemiological study identified an LDL particle type that had apolipoprotein C-III as the strongest independent lipoprotein predictor of coronary events in Type 2 diabetic patients.
